The 6th pay commission has recomended a hike of 40% let there be anti corruption commission and find out how much money these babus have piled from under the table. If 40% hike is recomended even then the 100% corruption rate will stay on.If you forget your driving licence at home a even then a traffic police constable be satisfied with 40% hike and let you go with appropriate action to produce the license but he would ask for the bribe as usual as he had been taking previously.

If you have a private bank account like that of HDFC or ICICI havenot you received mailers in the guise of receiving monthly statements which are allowed to be sent at lower rates of only 3/- by the postal dept?

If you are referring to Companies, almost all are Public Limited Companies and these industrialists with a minuscle shareholding like 20% use a Public Limited companies as their own. It is the Company buys half a dozen Mercedes/BMWs and a swanky bungalows and even private jets that do not contribute to the companny's revenue. These assets are for the exclusive use of Lalas and their families.

Hi kabeer....good analysis..but sadly..its not correct justification....if industrialists use mercedes or jets..they have earned that money b'coz of either..their ancestral money, or they themselves have earned it by use of their brain n business tact...y r u tying to save corrupt gov employees by giving illogical n insane justifications...?? There cant b any justification for u to become a corrupt person.

I can give an exhaustive reply but for sake of space restrict to only one sentence.
In India bribe was never primarily demanded, it was primarily offered as they know where the guilt lies!
No one has ever paid an Income Tax officer when he paid his taxes honestly!

Agreed with Arnav, either Kabeer is a supporter of corruption or he himself a corrupt Babu. Kabeer I am not talking about the mischief or cheating tactics used by private sectors to lure or cheat customers that's all together a different topic of discussion.I am talking about the corrutpion in the government sector.I am surprised to see that you are a supporter of corruption,Alas.

we are talking about performance & pay ~ if im nt wrong 90% of talented resources engaged in PVT sector and les than 1% in govt. sector. so we dont see any creative processes in govt. sector. they r not worth to get such hike.

Dear Sunil,
The talent that you are talking about comes from IITs and IIMs which are solely funded by Govt. In the US and West it is the Pvt sector that funds the professional education.
There is no pride in bragging about recruiting the best talent when the Pvt sector contributed nothing for that talent reaching that level.
Now dont tell me about taxes.
In the US and West too Pvt sector pays taxes and funds professional education in Universities.
Tell me which Ambani, which Birla, which Tata spent an iota on professional education?
