let there be competition
by cheruvu hanumantha rao on Mar 18, 2008 12:05 PM   Permalink

let there be competition amongst air ports. Then customer will benefit and efficiency will increase. Dont create monopoly. There should not be any restrictive clause in any agreement in not allowing new air ports or to close existing air ports. In other countries, such as USA, there are many air ports within short distance and air port managements are competing to woo air lines as well as passengers with additional facilities at competitive rates. Investing in new air port is a business and they should face competition like any other business.Restrictive clauses should be removed from any agreement. Govt. should encourage healthy competition and should not allow monopoly or cartelisation/syndication.
