Changed India
by Suresh Sawant on Jun 15, 2008 12:28 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Education, coupled with exposure to the world through media and Internet, blew away all cobwebs of inferiority complex which was legacy of Foreign rule, caste system etc.etc.This has really created platform of self-confidence and self-reliance.The change was thus inevitable.

India was insular due to the stupid policies of Nehru. Indians always had the brilliance to take on the world in its own terms...Nehru's socialist policies protected and stunted Indian entrepreneurial spirit. By now India would be producing its own brand name autos, ships, & planes.

You are right,Suresh. All the hate Philosophies
like Communism ,etc. got devalued because of this and unproductive, violent and meaningless
"Struggles" took a backseat [though NOT elimina
ted, especially in Bengal and Kerala]. This is a major reason India is moving ahead.
