I have lived in Bengal and other parts of India and am convinced there is no other place in India and very few in the world which matches the beauty and serenity of life in Bengal. Sure there are problems - but something about the land, its beauty, air and greenery infuse a inimitable spirit. Lets not forget Bengal is just stepping into industrialization from a largely agrarian society - so most of these problems are not surprising. Rest of India may think Bengal is a dead place, but most people who live there know in the core of their hearts there is nothing closer to heaven than Bengal.
