Government must provide FREE Public Transportation across India to all its Citizens.

This will
1. Reduce demand on Oil.
2. Reduce Inflation
3. Save foreign exchange on Oil imports

Oil consumption       = 2.438 million bbl/day (2005 est.)
Oil imports       = 2.098 million bbl/day (2004 est.)

State govt must cut sales tax in order to accomodate the price hike. State govt can reduce the price upto 2 to 3 rs.

I agree fully.
Government should also provide free food and 3 bed room house for all the citizens.

Every year government should provide every citizens with at least 4 set of new dresses including underwear and towel.
