per capita income less han 1000 $

we have per capita less than 1000$ but live in a pride that we are the richest people in the world.

Dude, Indians always live in the dillusional world and 90% of our population are short sighted about themselves and country, which makes them easily exploitable. As long as masses live in insecurity, there is no hope for India to get into the leauge of developed countries. This is the probable reason why people want to go out of India looking for greener pastures.

our per capita income is more than 1000$ ..its 1030$ and as PPP parameter it is 2800$. In 2003 our GDP was 460$...imagine if we continue to grow at 9% in next 5 years it will be doubled.
But the problem is that rich become richer and poor become poorer. Urban and rural divide...we need to bridge the gap between these two.
