Indian Hype
by Manu on Aug 01, 2008 07:15 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

That shows where all the hype for India economic conditions stands at... a poor shot at crying for attention. Per capita at $950, its quite clear, that we have more work on our hands for another few decades and "stop all that hype talk now".

By the way, who stands first in terms of per capita income?

Indians are so xenophobic and like the frogs in a well, who think India is a powerful and influential country and Amithab,SRK, Sachin are most famous people in the world. But the reality is what ever little recognition india got just from 7 to 8 years. before that india was famous for half naked poor and snake charming people like shown in the james bond and idian jones movie. The best example is the email chains about the Katrina and the mumbai floods. The fact is more than 90% indians are poor and even our neighbors like Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka dont care us.We cont even win a single medal in olympics. So instead of dreaming we should first improve our infrastructure and remove the poverty. we have a long way to go to become a influential force in the world.

Dirty and blood sucking Politics plays the major role in corruption in India , leading to wide gap in the earnings of Ambanis, and middle class. I agree to this views. Training8m, Queensland, Australia
