The figures given seems to be unrealistic for oil consumption. US = 20.73 million barrels/day China = 6.534 millions barrels /day Japan = 5.578 million barrels/day Germany = 2.65 million barrels/day Russia - 2.45 million barrels/day India = 2.45 million barrels/day
These India reporters can not be trusted. Anbody in duiscussion board may please be confirm.

2.45 Million barrels /day means approx 3.29 Crore Ltrs of oil consumption. This much I think only 4 metro city can consume in one day in transport sector Cra/BUS/TRucks only. What about rest of India, Railway/ Power house/Industries ? not considered therefore the figure given for India is not correct.

MOST IMPORTANTLY- WE MUST HAVE FIGURES THAT GIVE A PER CAPITA CONSUMPTION INSTEAD OF A TOTAL VALUE- BEING LARGER COUNTRIES INDIA/CHINA/RUSSIA WILL NATURALLY FIGURE IN THE TOP TEN. LETS GET REALISTIC
