PCI is not the correct way to gauge a country. I guess Vatican may have the highest PCI being the less populated country. PCI, GDP etc are mere jargons. For ex. India has one of the best GDP. But no use.. we consume most of our products and less export taking place

GDP is also measured in per capita and that is true reflection of well being of the nation. GDP of Uttar Pradesh is second highest in the country among all states in India. Does it mean UP is second most developed and richest state? On the contrary, it is one of the poorest and most backward state in India. This will only be demonstrated if you use Per Capita GDP.

We consume most of our products means, 1)There are far too many Indians. 2)Indian products lack International quality. 3)We produce what others don't want.

Pankaj, Im extremely sorry to state that your statements exhibit lack of self respect. These are cliche.. over population, international quality etc. First of all who decides international quality? Some other country like US / UK? We export even cars to UK - including good old Ambi.
