I am reffering to the speech of Ms Nooyi. It is quite encouraging that India is doing well and will continue to do well in the economic front.
But the sad part is that India will continue to be recognised as a Developing country for many
many years. Main reason is that we don't earn a major portion of our wealth through technology means (the acceted definition).We earn through natural wealth and service sectors. Manufacturing has taken a back seat due to lack of high technology base. China is much much ahead.In addition we will face a tremendous crisis in agculture where will lack both high tech.and the manual work force. In the social arena, we have the most backward and neglected lot. Considering all these, it does not give the real hope and pride.Something different has to be thought of.
