Phaneesh Murthy fell from grace while he was at the top of the game at Infosys for sexual harrasment cases bought against him -
now MOVE ON people!!
This is the problem with our country - we cannot look past mistakes and objectively view contributions of an individual! Agreed that this man did not live up to high moral standards... but he also paid his dues by resigning and the public humiliation he and his family faced since then.
This article talks about the impact he has in a company that has been down in the dumps and has positioned it as a strong player in the space. Think of the morale he has established in his employees.. not to mention share holder value.
This is all besides his splendid achievements at Infy while he headed sales in North America.
Lets stop this obsession with a persons weakness - everyone has it. We can only hope Mr Murthy has learnt from his mistakes and we can all move on!
