Whereas most of what you say is true, what you do not say is the fact that for decades, wealth generated in Mumbai was diverted to the worthless Babu town of Delhi, and its NCR neighbours. The north-dominated centre has consistently ill-treated Mumbai, squeezed the life juice out of it to feed the corrupt and bungling North.
It is for this reason that Mumbai is in its present state, and for the same reason that Shiva Sena and MNS exist. It is worth discussing whether the so-called cosmopolitan-ness of Mumbai is not at the cost of the original residents, and therefore worth giving up.
It should be remembered that protectionism is a natural outcome of fear, and is practised in the best of nations, including the USA, examples being quota system on Japanese cars and the dot busters. Rather than patently condemning Shiva Sena (which, by the way, has conveniently given up the Marathi cause for some time now for a vague but more saleable Hindutwa one), it is advisable to do some soul searching and see whether justice and fairness can be said to be practised in a place where the local population percentage constantly dwindles, their language is insulted, they are humiliated and Northies gather in larger numbers each time for Rama Leelas and Chhat Poojas.

Mr Pravin! Anand's English is perfect and certainly flawless unlike yours which needs to be improved a lot. What Anand said is absolutely correct excepting that the approach of Siva Sena which will be detested by all right thinking & law abiding citizens needs to be changed for better-to convince others in a polite but assertive way without resorting to violence and harassment of outside state people.
