Why are the internal targets that are set not announced to anybody? How can you show a sustained revenue growth of 5-6% and still say that you have lost in the EVA target set? Are the employees taken into confidence before making such an announcement. The results were declared in the mid of Jan and dividends announced for the shareholders. No cuts in this? Wasnt the management aware of the shortfall at the time of announcing the 3rd Quarter results? Why is there a 2 week gap between disclosing the Qaurterly results to the public and the "cool" cuts in the Variable allowances for its employees? Nothing happens to the shareholders, but cuts for employees. Thats a new definition of being an employee friendly firm!!!!

Very Greatly narrated. Completely agreed with your Openion. All this is happening due to No Unions of employees

A company can have revenue growth and falling EVA due to rising operational expenditures and/or a fall in capital asset efficiency....
A company can claim rising profits and still have a falling EVA due to fall in capital asset efficiency....

Agree with the revenue growth part. didn't understand the profit part. how can profit increase with decreasing EVA, even with capital asset efficiency.

Perfectly correct. All these things are happening because there is no one who question them. Taking advantage of No Employee unions.
