Hi this is not surprising. The cut is in EVA or variable pay. It is know to all if the targets are not met the variable pay decreases. That is idea of variable pay and it is in practice in many companies including infy! Why it is big news. Does rediff not understand funda of variable pay?

You are right, This shows the rediff standards and Most of the people in this forum are also unaware of the funda. TCS cuts some amount to recover the target. EVA may be more/less depends upon overall Company/individual performance performance.
