Congress govt

Even with so much opposition by Commies, Cngress is able to achieve almost 10% growth for India. What if it had a Govt of its own? India would have atleast 12% growth every year,it will have nuclear cooperation with developed countries, will be part of security council backed by western powers etc. In local level, there will be no strikes, no communal disharmony etc. Congress should be voted to power on its own in next elections for India to become a true global power.

Reg. nuclear ("123"), Communists are very right in opposing it. Nuclear issue is very very sensitive and most scientists in (Indian)Department of Atomic Energy are against the 123. Self sustenance should be the goal, not begging.

India will not be allowed by US, China, Britain and others to become part of the security council, though they may speak in favour of it when Indian Prime Minister/President makes a visit there.

I am a regular reader of rediff and I often see people expressing their views. I know we all are well wishers of our India but what are we actually doing except for reading and commenting???? We say we love our country and we keep an eye on each and every development taking place but is that it ???? is it enough to just reading a newspaper ???
Okay let me ask u something?? When someone in ur family gets ill (God forbid), what do u do??? do u start shouting at that person for getting ill and blame him or her for bringing illness into the home? Or do u take him to a doctor for a treatment??? Of course, the second option%u2026.. and we treat the illness till its gone.. isn%u2019t it ?? same is with our country. Unfortunately it has been chronically ill and we have to treat her slowly and steadily. We cant just blame each other or the politicians for everything. What is a country??? Its just a piece of land. We the people constitute this country%u2026 isn%u2019t it ??? so logically, we are a part of our country and also its illness%u2026 ask yourself and answer honestly, have u ever given or accepted bribe?? If yes, then why r u discussing all this and wasting ur time here??? if u want development u have to become a part of it, big or small.
And we the ones who bring these politicians to power. So if bad politicians are in power it%u2019s not their fault. It is ours. If we do not practice out RIGHT AND DUTY to vote, we have no right to blame and shout at others. Small things

And we the ones who bring these politicians to power. So if bad politicians are in power it%u2019s not their fault. It is ours. If we do not practice out RIGHT AND DUTY to vote, we have no right to blame and shout at others. Small things make a big difference.
Whenever a government is formed in india, it is formed by coalition and the main party in the coalition has to take care of the smaller parties of coalition instead of the country and its needs. The regional parties may be good for a particular region but in a big picture they actually play a very harmful role for the central government. So its time we keep our country%u2019s interest in mind when we vote rather than our regional interest.
Its easy to talk and difficult to implement,, especially in a vast country as ours. If each one of us start to change ourselves and takes a small duty to avoid wrong and stop it from happening in our daily lives and most importantly VOTE RESPONSIBLY, i don%u2019t think we are too far from success.
