pay hike - inorgnised sector
by R Balasubramanian on Jan 16, 2008 04:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is sixty years of independance and 65% of the SSI are still unrecognised and have representation with regard to employees welfare. The Labour officials are corrupt to the core and are only concerned with the monthly and annual earnings from each units. for eg., an office boy having put a total of 20 years service draws a salary of Rs.5500 in Bangalore city with no other benefits to take care of his future.
What to talk about pay hike.

You pay maximum for anything in Bangalore. ROTI/KAPDA/.... And also you dont get the excemption on the tax for 5k which other metro gets. Its really sad for people who earns 8-12K per month in this city.
Wait for the IT also : see the next yrs hike in your salary. Every one aware of the $$$ rate now. Dont get surprise if you get -VE in your hike.
People like CAB driver/ house owner(lender)/ real estate agent/ Auto driver they may earn more/equal than a IT prof by end of each yr.
What a good system...
