All is well till something happens
by Tarun Agarwal on Jan 04, 2008 02:38 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

This is the attitude of the people who are involved. Till no accident occurs, people would be happy. As soon as something happens, a blame game would start. Ultimately nothing would come out of it and people would escape. This is what is called Indian attitude "chalta hai". In fact, the minister of civil aviation himself said that there is nothing such as 99% safety. If no accident happens, safety is 100% else 0%
Anyway, he would NOT resign if accident happens

U r right. Civil Aviation Minister will only look after his interest in pocketing kickbacks from aircraft manufacturers and contracts given for airport expansions. Why should he care for the Public.

First the Civil Aviation Minister should be sacked who knows nothing other than buying new aeroplanes and then his mentor Sharad Pawar, who is BCCI President and doesn't know how to hold a bat. These people are jeopardising the lives of the citizens of this country.
