Leaders/Managers are born. Just that by all these trainings they are fine tuned. By training they cannot make a leader. It is yet another leader who is capable of identifying the people who have that capability and promote him to that level. Since companies are growing at fast rate they make anyone and everyone a leader and it causes problems for the leader and his subordinates as well. The whole organisational thinking should change to clear this mess up

Leaders are not people who have people have following them but who listen to people and still be a guiding force to show path more importantly correct path. Sometimes leaders are not people who lead from front but actually make people themselves to push to higher levels and sadly not many leaders in organizations can boast of that capabilities
