Bosses are always right and will continue to be so for eternity. After all, they are the deciders - whether it comes of performance appraisal or giving a good re-commendation for re-deployment of the subordinate elsewhere
But the boss can be friendly and the subordinate still a good resource provided both are matured individuals knowing their respective shortcomings and their effectiveness well enough
