Shut Up!
You are one of those guys who sit in an air conditioned chamber and travel in a posh car, comment on everything in this country, eat the food grown by a poor farmer, and become very insensitive to the problems of impoverished.

Hegde, nobody does favour on others. If he travels in posh car and you can not, that is because you are impotent to do so. For 60 years you guys got all the subsidies and did not do anything: This is the effect of that laziness. People who travel in posh car do that because they have either the intelligence or they work hard to earn that posh car. Nobody is saying that farmers should suffer. But farmers also should take into account that if the people are driving in posh cars, it is not inspite of the farmers. Don't mix the issues here or you will be beaten blue-black again.

pacificblue --- Try to understand the issue
Look at the language sharma is using
I am very happy to pay the tax if it is gonna benfit poor farmers and need .... I my self pay 3 lk as my tax ... it might not be big contribution for m my side but happy to contribute ....
One thing --- every one works hard ... but the perks are different for every one ... thats the reason ... kisi ke paas car hee too kisi ke paas bail gadi ...
Not to hurt any sentiments ...
Cheers for farmers .... not for any political party

Brother, even I am ready to give my share to farmers. IF IT HELPS. It won't. It won't reach to farmers. Wake up. Did it reach to farmers for 60 odd years? What happens next? Where is infrastructure to elevate farmers? Where is the irrigation infrastructure? Where is electricity? Next time you see, the farmers would be there in the same state and some politicians still doing the same tactics. Distributing money does not solve problems. This government understands that they would have to work hard if they need to upgrade farmers. They don't want to do that. They simply are doing a populist tactic. My protest is not for the money being given to farmers. It is for the money being given without doing anything else for them.

i dont travel in a posh car. in fact i have no car. but i know that its my tax money which will fill up the deficiencies. i agree with sharma. waiving loans creates a bad precedent. its the same as giving money to a begger. what he need to do is to get rid of the middlemen and let the farmers sell directly to a body who will give them the correct prices.

They are not giving freely. Food prices are highest in India. We are forced to buy food at higher prices and again pay for the farmers loans. What is this.

That's not exactly true Mr.Murthy. Food in India is in fact cheapest commodity. In US, you would have paid ten times that amount for the same quantity.

Mr. Narasimha Murty just tell me to whom this money is going -to farmers or traders- just understand our economy main basis is agriculrture and govt gets major taxes from agri related products...
