Here I as an Indian is clearly amused, one could find a clear apathy for all economic matters among the bloggers. Since the communal hate mongers and other hate groups do not have enough intellect to comprehend much of the real impact of the budget and how the future of India is shaped because of that, there is hardly any views, spirited arguments, vitriolic being poured out in the blogs.
Kinly note that there is barely page of comments on the blog for budget matters which actually shapes and effects the real citizens of India. But just note the number of pages of blog filled in by for any communal issues, political hate agendas (at least 10 to 15 pages of blogs filled with arguments, denials, rhetoric and filthy abuses etc) This shows what actually moves indians, where our interests should be, but what we take interest in. Let there be more debate on the budget...Lets us shape our future better!!

George Get a life.....get out of ur evangilistic mode and enjoy the benefits of the new budget.... Rather than crying foul over other tpics being aginst christian missionaries....India is awakening and know ur plot to harvest our souls living in darkness....Educated Indians understand the Multi - TRILLION $ business run by missionaries in the name of healing and THEY DONT EVEN PAY THEIR TAXES(SALARIES EARNED BY DOING CONVERSIONS- RS 30000 PER HINDU FAMILY).... Tell padrees, pastors, brother and sisters to pay TAXES.

India, as a country of largely very poor people, has very little to do with matters of money. Moreover, budget is not going to change lives of ordinary poor Indians in any significant manner. So, what to discuss about budget?

Aon...Are you saying then that what we discuss here on sleaze, crime, regionlaism, language, etc., have the potential to change the economic profile of the country? Is it because we are rich that we discuss about cricket, personalities and other things in details, but we are 'poor' when it comes to talking abt budget? Let us focus on the educated folks who write on these blogs here and feel pity that they have not given budget a thought! George has a point here, and I agree with him. Rediff blog is just timepass for most!
