Wrong information
by SP on Feb 06, 2008 03:17 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Rediff is giving a wrong information about the growing cities. Why the author has ignored Chandigarh, Cochin and he has included underdeveloped city Bardhman (Burdwan). I doubt how many people outside Bengal heard about this city? Those who are in acdemics must have heard about Burdwan University. Rediff should give the correct information to its readers. they should not give any information from the facts received through telephones or other medias. Before preparing such a report, the reporter could have travelled through all the major cities of India and study the growth rate with the help of local bodies.

Kolkutta and Burdhaban should be ranked with African cities like Gonder and Kassala. They are way backward.

Gurgaon is in a developing stage. This city still lacks proper drainage, garbage disposal, law and order, water supply etc. But it is a fact that in near future it will be the No.1
