Nice effort but in vain!!!
by Shailendra Kulkarni on Aug 07, 2008 09:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

One can appreciate the attempt made by these guys. But it is totally useless, unless it is PRACTICAL. Even newly launched BAJAJ EXCEED can run 109 kms per litre (in ideal conditions) and this is a very much a good regular bike.

If this new bike cannot run with a speed of 20 Km/hr, it is totally useless. One can ride a BICYCLE rather than this bike........

Do you not see the difference between 180 and 109? They have implemented an idea into practice, thats itself a great achievement. We Bharatiya never learn to appreciate and admire our own's achievements. It is a matter of time to be put into real practice.

Dear Bharat,

If you read my comments properly, I have already mentioned that this is a very nice effort. But, is this a practical car? Can anyone purchase this car and run on roads. With such a low capacity engine, it make many many hours to travel 180 kms..

yes but be PRACTCAL, man! a CAR as u call it is supposed to carry atleast 4 ppl AND their luggage over some sizable distance in relative comfort. Can this m/c do that? Tata's proposed compressed-air car sounds better idea
