work hard,take home pay less the amount,consume less.dont borrow.be happy with what you get.inflation will be checked automatically,but its not possible.......but consume less will help .........

work hard you said -if you have work to do. If no body spends no sales - no sales means no production - no production means no jobs. no job means no pay- ofocusres not in government employees. No work - still salary. plus pension life long. hence your mantra will not work at all.
