Development, population & happiness
by Ram Sharma on Apr 16, 2008 10:38 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Materialistic development has to be sustainable. If it does not give happiness to the people, it is of no use. We r destoying ecology and the earth in the name of development. Population of the country is also a big problem. We must forcefully apply one child norm on the line of China to control population growth.

There is no political will amongst the parties to implement your decision. Atleast if two child norm is implemented strictly, there will be a considerable change in the developmwnt of the country.

I also think this is the time to apply twp child norm to all indians. Otherwise, we will go beyond the point of no control soon.
