by Joyee Funee on Apr 11, 2008 01:17 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Is really just 7.41%
School and College fees rise by 100% (iim just doubled its fee in this term)

Hospitalisation - its more than 2 to 3 times the cost was 4 years back

Realty market : suddenly trippled in last 2 years ( and most of land in Mumbai is acquired by politicians like Narayan Rane, Deshmukh etc..)

Essential Commodity Price : is 3 to 4 time higher than it was in NDA regime

Share Market : During NDA rule it was 5500 pints when UPA won the election 4 time rise in price and it is currently 16000

Petrol and diesel : 50% up from NDA regime price of Rs. 35 per litre

How can we say just 7.41% inflation

can any one explain ?

Very valid question. Especially, people who need to buy new house, for them inflation is 300% and not 7.41% because biggest part of thir earning will be going to repay the debts.
