The spurt in index is due to increse in , inter-alia,oil prices. Since India shall to depend heavily on imports other alternates of energy are required to be explored. Turn back to heavenly elements-hydro-wind-solar-bio-and-n-power. Reduce cost of power over long term at the earliest.

Using alternative power will also help greatly to bring down inflation, as our dependence on petroleum products will decrease.

Not only that, it will start a new economic revolution. Producing solar and jatropha bio power will help India immensly.Also it will help in reducing pollution which is so dangerously high in India.
