i am working in saudi arabia, i see here passport is being issued within 24 hours, no police enquiry, no vigilance enquiry, why we have these formalities,i think if we have one computerized national id card, this problem can be solved and delay can be avoided.

I got my son passport in only two days from New Delhi, with out any delay; even the passport officer asked me when you want this passport, You will say I know someone in passport office or I given bribe, but this is not true, just I paid the fee for %u201CTatkal%u201D and passport.
