Basket Trading
by Amit Gupta on Oct 20, 2007 12:54 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

why is that there is a basket trading session before opening the markets at 9.55....isnt it a discrimination against small investors ? FII's can buy/sell before the market opens .and that's why we get a gapup or gapdown opening? just coz we invest small, we are sidelined.

In my view if there is such thing as basket trading i dont mind, when the market opens atleast we have a hint where the Index is going to be,,it is always better to start trading an hour or later, actually if we are a bit cautious, then small time investor have better chance to recover from loss.
