ALL METROS AND MEGA CITIES INCLUDING Pune city ARE gorwing very fast with a large influx of immigrants. Still Govt.health Facility in Pune is worst at its best and compared NCR need much to be desired. Due to poor health facilities in the city and suburb, City has become a haunting ground for few unscrupulous doctors!
These doctors are seasoned crimianls,Lord of Last benches in medical schools and got in to medical schools with just a pass mark in qualifying examinatioins.It takes average 10 years for average SC/ST Quota Doctors to co9me out of medical schools which can be done in 5 years by average merit holder student.
Now such doctors have started minting money by unscrupulous practices without disclosing their quota status and largely immigrant populations don?t know pats of these doctors.
Why public should avoid them
1. QUOTA doctors are generally poor quality doctors in knowlege, skills and morality. So one is more likely to be ovrecharged, undertreated, wronlgty treated and /or abused!!
2. QUOTA doctors tend to have nexus with criminals. Drug dealing, kidney rackets etc.orginates from lust of money by these quota doctors.
3. QUOTa doctors are generally not adequately insured. That means if I go to ophthalmic guy for eye complains and if I lose my eye, I am not entitled for any compensation as doctors would turn bankrupt!! Most of insurance company charges lot higher premium from quota Doctors For malpractices and there for most of QUOTA DOCTORS

Most of insurance company charges lot higher premium from quota Doctors For malpractices and there for most of QUOTA DOCTORS don?t insure themselves or go for very nominal insurance with low ceiling ie.10000 RS. Price of your eye is 10000 rests only!!
4. Quota doctors are generally sex maniac so it not safe for children or females.
I hope a Pune municipal corporation upgrade its health services otherwise is disaster like situations, there will be lots of secondary death due to poor health services!!
HOW TO identify quota doctors??
1. LOOK for tale-tell sign form his name!! Few clever doctors would change there name through. Like Dr Bhange will be form QUOTA Cadre.
2. age/color and behavior of doctor
3.Ask him /her about number of failure in his/her medical schools.
4 Lack of adequate insurance and generally poorly maintained hospitals!!
5. When you are paying for his/her services, ask for his QUOTA status under RTI Acts..!!It is your information?s and you have right to know!!##USE RTI laws and expose QUOTA CRIMINALS!!
