ICICI is not giving what they promise,i took one health plan from icici lombard in 2005,i discussed with customer care executive about doctor fee and he told that doctor cunsultation fee is cover and when i received the policy paper it was clearly mantioned that cunslation fee is not included then i call to customer care and they told sorry sir the cuns.fee is not included,only hospitalization charges is included,i paid the premium by credit and they returned the money after deduction all their charges after 3 months so beware of this company and clear all the issue before buying any plan.

I took National Insurance company mediclaim 6 years back. I had an operation and company was very punctual in giving me money. Because of good experience, i got whole family insured.
One thing i can assure u from semi-govt insurances... "YOU dont need to read between lines" . I mean the smallprint.
If u got for private things are rosy in paper, not in real life.
