I do agree that it is a great move by bank of india, i was ofeered a loan by ICICI which i gleefully accepted and still i am paying it back thru my credit card , i am unbale to preclose it as the bill gets generated along with my credit card statement and the bank is just awaiting as to when i make a late payment or default it s o that it can make a fast buck. The point i want to make is none of the banks should not send a cheque/offer letter to someone whom they think is a good borrower, and if anyone needs a loan there should be a signed letter requesting for the same to the banks.

Pls call ur call centre and ask for foreclosure amount on a prefixed that. You would get the amount with total details. Pay it accordingly and you would see that the loan is closed. Please do not foreget to take ref no. every time you call a call centre of any bank. regards
