My perspective- The Indians whom I worked with (thank god only a handful) were not maintaining proper health and obese, rude and horrible managers trying to micromanage. The were mentally and physically much older than their real age.
To go on global facts- The number of american/european entrepreneurs far excceeds the number of indians. ALso the IT entrepreneurs in US who own a subaru/ bmw and a million dollar house are corrupt faking resumes, pay checks, immigration documents.
Dont beleive it????? Take a minute and look around and count how many things were invented by an Indian. Did indian invent your computer? TV, AC/HVAC unit, electricty, light bulb, any man made material?? any man made object? ....
Let me know if you find anything which an indian made. DOnt give me crap now saying indians are innovators and dont say this old cliche- ZERO WAS INVENTED BY INDIAN- WE NEVER PROGRSSED TO NUMBER 1 AFTER ZERO. We just work for the innovators and entrepreneurs.

Ram, u are right. for the sake of filling pages in electronic media, I used to see the exagerrated stories on Indian enterprenuers, although they are not far excellent than others, in message board. Nedd to be scrutinised for real facts.

Hi Minoo - most of the stuff you have written is wrong, none of these people like vinod/kalpana/Sabeer and others are not Indian at all, they have long time surrendered their Indian passports, and they have taken an oath during their citizenship ceremony to fight against India, if there is a war between the US and India. There are 1 doctor for every 20 people in the US( It is there in the US medical Journal) so there are some 15 million doctors in the US. Now if I take your 38% are indians, it is close to 6 millions indian doctors in the US, the indian community is just 3.2 millions. If you do not have the right #s, please do not pump in stupid information to make india/indians smarter or better. It shows how stupid we indians are. Your stupid culture etc you keep them with you, india has a 93% of the Asian poverty today. In corruption we are 81, pakistan is 87 and bangaladesh is 132. A 5000 year old credential is not going to help you dude, if you have cutting edge technology to feed the 1.2 billion population will certain help the poor millions in India. Do not talk rubbish, be realistic.

Minooo,your post reads like an outdated India tourism brochure. Please do yourself a favor - ask the above group who make you feel proud - HOW MANY OF THEM CONSIDER THEMSELVES INDIAN and anything they invented ? Most of the people you are talking about are EMPLOYEES in the US.Where are the entrepreneurs ?

Minoo, If we consider your "impressive" numbers about the Indians working in US, then all Indians in US must be either doctors, scientists, or engineers, far from truth. As I always say, false pride harms India more than anything else. You guys are so proud of Indians making it big to these MNCs, have you ever wondered why Laxmi Mittal doesnt have even a single penny worth of investment in India? Stop blabbering and talk truth.
