Indian success in USA
by Prof. R K Gupta on Mar 25, 2007 07:12 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Indians are basically corrupt, compromising and lacking ethics except for a small percentage of population.Greedy, selfish and self cnetred they can corrupt anyone under the sun.It is bad for USA society if many Indians rise there in business or government.
It also is greatness of US society thgat supports enterprise and encourages investment and innovation and hardwork (in a few cases ofcourze this happened). But US citizens must be alert as these immigrants wil slowly poison American society and make them corrupt klike they did in many middle east and african countries.

Dear Mr. Gupta, I am surprised by your mean comments. I am a student here in US, I meet ppl like you and my disappointment only grows. You may be former IITians, who came to USA in 1970s and became successful. Now, when you see so many ppl coming to USA and also so easily. You feel competition. You know that now it has become very difficult for you kids to be sucessful. And thats the reason for all negativity. Wake up, sucess and opportunity can not be monopoly of someone. If your confused kids work hard, they also can be sucessful.

R K Gupta.

I agree with your views. Even after working abroad so many years, NRI still follow the pathetic caste system and regionalism in the name of so called culture as in India. They refuse to integrate with main stream and live in isolation.

Oh yeah? So you think all Germans are good, all Americans are polite? all Britains are best? All Japanese are honest? My dear friend, have a broad vision & think broad, good, bad, greed, honest, dishonest, beggars are all over the world. It all depends upon how much they all contribute to the society.

PS - Both India & Pakistan were thrown out from Super 8, what happened to both the coaches? How are both countries reacting to this?

If that is the case, I think you should leave US first. I live in US and there are so many things we can learn from their society. But talking so bad about India makes me wonder how come a narrow minded, pig headed person like you became a professor. Or ARE YOU REALLY? Anybody can preach ethics after his/her stomach. Britain invaded every possiblie country and stole everything from there. So is Japan. And US, everybody knows that they came here, occupied and killed all native American Indians, brought black slaves, made them slog to build everything. Now they talk as if they are the champions of ethics. Having said that it is not that there is nothing we can learn from them. But taking a skewed view is not good at all. If India also did the same brutal things that all these countries did, probably India would have been teaching the same things to other countries. So PROFESSOR, take some history lessons. By the way whether you agree or not, all companies need Indian talent you moron. They have no choice.

I agree with Prof. Gupta to a certain extent. Indians have a general tendency to be self-centered and corrupt. I have seen some of them may be including me, who want maximum returns for minimum effort. Though, it is an awesome Idea, it may not be good for other people around us.

I have seen so many American colleagues who don't work as hard as Indians. So we can't really generalize as we see same people in every ethnicity. May be you are one of those drain brains from India who don't know anything but got lucky to get a decent job and thinks all Indians are like that.
