1. Race, God and Myth exist in every country. 2. India with all its diversity and still a young nation(only 50 yrs of independence) has progressed a lot. 3. There is no developed country that is younger that India and has acheivied what India did in such a less time.

I am proud because
1. of what we have achieved so far. 2. of so much diversity and co-existance. 3. of its tolerence. 4. of its excellence. 5. of the freedom and the scope I enjoy.
every child/country learns and comits mistakes and again learns from the mistakes. India still has to pass through that learning curve to be called a mature nation and eventually a developed and The Greatest nation. We cannot fast forward this process.

The most glorious contribution and heritage of India is the Hindu religion and culture which makes all the things you mentioned above. So logically Hinduism makes India, which makes us all proud.

I do not necessarily agree with you. IMHO the Indianness in all (indians) of us is what makes India and we all should be proud of India for that.
1. Would u really care of India won a cricket match under a muslim captain or a christian captian or a hindu captain. 2. Would you not watch TV because the satellite that relays the channels was built by a muslim or a christian or a hindu I dont think so.
Hail India dont Hail Religion. Preach unity not religion. Please dont say mera religion mahan ... please say Mera Bharat Mahan
