Harassed passengers should file Complaints at the Consumer Forum
by Miharika on Jun 14, 2007 11:07 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Supreme Court has ruled in TK Rangarajan Vs.Govt of Tamil Nadu and Ors. (AIR 2003 SC 3032) that employees have no fundamental statutory right to resort to strike. On this basis, all harassed passengers suffering from the Indian Airlines strike should file individual complaints at their local District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, under the Consumer Protection Act. It is very easy to do and does not require any lawyer. This will teach these airlines a lesson.
