Unnecessary and disturbing calls from ICICI
by junaid tanwir on Jun 19, 2007 02:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Being a home loan customer of ICICI bank since last two years, I am paying up the EMIs very well on time without any delay through electronic transfer from my account. As it was on floating rate, the bank increased by EMIs and started withdrawing the amount without informing me either through call or in writing. Though I kept on paying up the EMIs. This month they did not withdraw the amount from my account, therefore, I called up the ICICI collection agent and gave him the cheque of the EMI. After a few days I started getting calls from ICICI about my non payment of the EMI. I was amazed and gave details of the payment to the person on line. Now every alternate day I started getting calls for the payment.Though I payed up the EMI but nobody told me that my EMI was again increased hence you have to pay more. This I came to know after talking to some officials at ICICI Home Lone division at Lucknow. This was ridiculous as a customer with good credit history is getting calls every alternate days since last 10 days for non payment, without any fault of his, as the bank did not communicate to him in any mode about increase in his EMIs and harassing and disturbing him through calls.
