The headline in this article is misleading. Ms. Clinton is not changing her tune on outsourcing, she is just warning the Indian community that there may well be a backlash against India. I have been in the U.S for over 15 years and I have seen the immigrant backlash during the recession of the 1990s. Clinton is actually astute in her observation, there may well be a backlash against outsourcing since many Americans are being laid off. As for a backlash against China, it is quite psossible. However, the politicians can't pass any protectionist measures since most of the Iraq war effort is being financed by China.
