All those indian engineers who goes gaga over this decision, just think for a moment.Indian govt is spending so much money in getting each of these engineers graduated and the real benifit is tapped by the US govt. This is another lucrative strategy from the US govt. By accepting the Indian degree, the US is not accepting the education in India or giving any credit to the Indian universities. The fact is that they want cheap labour high tech coolies from India. As long as the shameless US crazy graduates are here, the trend will continue. Guys, understand what role you are playing by ditching a poor mother who spends a whole lot of money from her empty pouch for you and what you pay back in return. SHAME ON YOU :-(

Before starting comparison with usa, can Indian provide basic food to those 30 crore people below poverty line? In USA, if people don't earn, they give access card to their people where it has $1,100 inside that card to provide them basic needs such as food an housing to everyone. Indian systen is like BMC, MMRDA, MAHADA where gutter water in monsoon becomes part of everyone life. This is real India.

You know only issues in India. Do you know what was the situation in New Orleans after the heavy rain followed by the Katrina? Dubai is a well developed city than Mumbai. That is a good point Mr. Aneesh. Since Dubai is drowned in 5 minutes and people of New Orleans have not yet been rehabilated, the Mumbaikars have now no reason to complain! They should applaud the inaction of both the local authorities and state government to make Mumbai what it is today. Just go on do that. No complaint please. India is great and Indians are great!

hello tamil bhai chup ho ja,even u give these 30 crore ppl money and house they will come back to roads again so its mindset which has to be changed if that happens gov will help.
It is easy to criticse. YOu would also exericse the same option, given a chance. Money/currency has no untouchability. People opt for a job where they are highly paid. If the same salary is given, nobody would like to go to America or Australia.
It is better not to speak what government is doing for the youth of this country. Except for the 7 IITs and some Government Engineering Colleges (which are good for nothing), government is not providing any assistance for the students. Those who excel even while studying in Government Engineering colleges are indeed talented people. An average student would not able to do much in these colleges.

It is just a matter of ethics and magnanimity; here, I am not talking about a great sacrifice from the common Indian middle class. I have also worked abroad, and I know what it makes to work in a foreign country. You are treated like a second class citizen in any country you work. You are not worried about that. At the same time, you are very much sensitive about what you are not provided in India. If the govt of India is not doing a great job for you, whose fault is it. As a democratic country, the onus is on the citizens to correct the system and as long as you don%u2019t do it, the developed world will sneer at you, probably you are not worried about even that. Grow up and think, get out of your rigid selfish mindset which you are nurturing for centuries..
What and which Government you are talking about. People here have blind faith. Those who are wedded to the ideas of Congress will vote for them through generations, irrespective of what congree do or does not do. Some others still belive that it the party of Mahatma Gandhi and therefore, thay can't think of voting for any other party. The RSS/BJP people are also rigid and think whatever they say and do are right, irrespecitve what a neutral man thinks. These parties give tickets to criminals, cinluding those charged with rape, murder and even dacoity and without any qualms Indians vote for them. If you do not vote, no problem, they have arrangements and your vote will be cast by someone else! (stright forward rigging and scientific rigging - as in the case of WBengal by CPM is the order of the day here.
REligion, politics and caste war goes on here. Corruption rules everywhere and people are least concerned about fellow being. Jealous and self-centered people.
Nobody loves or hate anybody for no reason. When you say, I like a particular person, or a particular national, you are talking that you like the character, behaviour of that particular individual. I love my India and its people, but what I want is a general improvement in Indians, in all walks of life. I somehow hate USA but that does'nt mean that I should not apprecite the good things about USA.

I don't say you should go to some other country. But can you suggest anything to improve the preswent condition of your beloved mother land, which is my mother land too. Can you save her from the clutches of the greedy politicians and the mafia raj?
At the same time, I do not belive that all the ills that the country is facing is created by politicians. It is the people of this country, who made its politicians corrupt. Indians have in their blood to do corrupt practices. Can we change this attitude. It is possible, if a concerted effort is made right now so that atleast 25-30 years no onwards, we could dream a better Indian society. First, it is the mind set of the people like you that has to be changed. Just because that India is our mother country, do not insist that everthing here is fine. Learn to admit our shortcomings and try to improve. Don't believe me or take my words. But ask someone else who specialises in antying. Take for example, ask a doctor what is the difference in working India and USA. Ask a scientist how he feels working in USA and in INdia. We cannot match the facilities/infra structure that they provide in USA and it will take a long time for us to come to that level. The sooner we admit that and work towards betterment, it is good for our country.

You point is valid in certain contexts. The thing is, wherever the Education is good, go and learn it, and afterwards comeback to India to serve. This will be good.
In the US, they pay for your studies, of course, if you are good. They also spend money. I am not supporting US, but just telling you the happenings.
I haven't done any degree in the US, but planning to do one in the US and come back to India to do something good here.
Please do not forget our SWADES ! In these troubled days of Kaliyuga, where the rich-poor divide is only going to get deeper, with 80% of the resources available to 20% of the rich & vice-versa, its high time WE INDIANS rise to the occasion & empower ourselves with the best education (Indian or Foreign), provide primary health & education to all, eliminate corruption at the grass-roots in the society, reduce un-employment, encourage meritocracy in the society & endeavour to make the country a SUPER POWER by 2015 !
