Yeah right. Instead they are lower caste hindus waiting for their turn to get ripped off by upper caste hindus.
The reason for Indian poverty is simple - the country has failed to break the brahmin-upper caste shacklehold. Till that happens, we would continue to be next to Zimbabwe.

You are right Venky. We have problems.70% reservation in education/jobs also not helping it. But these problems are our problems.

Yeah right !!! like what is happening in UP. You won't get any votes for blaming upper castes. It is just a social evil that exists in every cast including among SCs/STs themselves.
