WELL SAID THAT ABSOLUTELY TRUE,WE ARE IMPROVING BUT NOT YET THERE,SO THERE IS NO ROOM FOR COMPLACENCY.MY ADVICE TO THOSE PESSIMIST PEOPLE OUT HERE:VISIT OTHER COUNTRIES TO FIND HOW THEY ARE.THEIR SOULS ARE NOT CLEAN(IAM GENERALIZING) HOW SELFISH PEOPLE ARE IN OTHER COUNTRIES.I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN A DIFF COUNTRY FOR 7 YRS AND IAM LEAVING TO INDIA NEXT MONTH TO HELP CHANGE MY NATION AND LET PEOPLE KNOW WE ARE GOOD BUT WE ARE LAGGING AND IN THE PROCESS WILL GROW MYSELF AND MY COUNTRY GROW
I WISH EVERONE COULD STAY IN A DEVELOPED COUNTRY FOR A YEAR TO UNDERSTAND HOW SELFISH PEOPLE ARE,IF YOU LIVE FOR A MONTH OR JUST GO FOR A VISIT U WILL ONLY SEE GREEN.
ASK ME ABOUT INDIA AND INDIANS,I HAVE STUDIED IN THE NORTH,SOUTH,WEST,EAST,CENTRAL INDIA AND HAVE WORKED AND STAYED IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD FOR 7 YEARS AND I REALIZED HOW GOOD WE ARE AS A NATION (INDIANS SELDOM KNOW),AND I KNEW EVEN BEFORE VISITING AND STATING IN THESE PLACES,ITS JUST THAT I HAVE ENOUGH PROOF.
NO,IAM NOT 60 YRS OLD,IAM 27 AND I WILL INSPIRE A FEW.
WISH ME LUCK GUYS,I KNOW I WILL FACE MANY CHALLENGES BUT I REALIZE THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE LIKE ME,WICH ME LUCK!

Mr. whoever, I have been staying in the developed country for past 5 years and I dont see any truth in the statements that you have made here. You dont have to get emotional about these issue. You will find cons the moment you land in any Indian airport, what the hell are you talking about?

If that is the case, we have to train the
staffs & air hostess with a developed country
training school on how to smile on the face.

Please, I'm not being pessimistic or indulging in India bashing. I am an ordinary middle class Indian who lived a honest life for 42 years in India. I now live in the USA and will be here for a few years. I bought a plot of land with my hard earned money in Bangalore. I got it checked thoroughly by a lawyer and got all the documents in my name. I regularly paid taxes for this property for nine long years and built a compound wall around it. One fine morning.........a bunch of thugs landed up and demolished my compound wall. I ran to the police station as they were destroying my wall and they merely told me it was a "civil issue" and wouldn't interfere. I went to the court and after two long years and a hundred visits won the case against them. Now I hear another goonda who has a local minister's support is again causing trouble. Buddy, there are selfish and bad people everywhere and America or any other western nation is no exception. Incidentally at least the police will come to my rescue in another nation. In India the police supports the mighty, not an innocent like me. If you have money and muscle power, wrong can be right in India at every level. I have experienced this and in no small measure. I am happy to know that at least a few young men like you are going back to India in the hope of improving our lot. I hope and pray you don't return disillusioned. When we say India is improving, many of us avoid saying the number of farmers who committed suicide crossed the thousand mark in one state alone in the same breath. Yes, urban India is improving and at electric speed. I hope this development also percolates to the guy who grows tomatoes in the hope of feeding his family three square meals a day, and with a heavy heart has to dump it on the highway coz there are no takers for his toil.
I have always felt we are a gifted country, but somehow we fail to take advantage of our capabilities. We have the best form of Government in the civilized world which is called Democracy, but conveniently forget the fact Democracy minus discipline is the worst form of Government. Unless we put our political house in order, we certainly have no hope with all this development. America has turned us into their steno pool, but I wonder if this is our best option. I hope it is.
Good luck Buddy! I wish you the very best. I

i live in the US and work in the health sector.as per US law, no person can be turned away from receiving emergency care irrespective of his/her ability to pay.though the stay may be billed,it does not mean that one HAS to pay up especially if disabled or unemployed.and if u r a visitor,it makes sense to take travel insurance,as no tax payer wud like to pay up for someone who has not given his share of taxes.and it dos'nt cost much to get one.one has to learn to always live within ones budget. there r low income families that like to get a luxury car and end up allocating 25-30% of the income on it. why not use that for getting a health insurance instead.whereas in india, someone may take u to a hospital but the surgeon may not operate until payed under the table.(esp in govt hosp). in the private hosp-forget it!

Rightly said.
Just tell me when a poor met an accident in
India, what will happen. They take to hospital emergency and get TREATED. But in developed
country, they do the same & you have to pay
for your life if you don't have insurance.
Who cares poor more?
We are treating poor very good.
Giving farmers subsidy etc.
So, don't reply with saying like we are giving
more to the farmers & make them lazy.

In India, if you have an accident, people will either ignore it or not take the person to hospital. Unlike India, where hosiptals wont take you in unless the police FIR is filed for some accident or assault, developed countries treat them much better (without insurance and without money if you dont know). Stop blabbering if you dont know the truth about the developed countries and how they operate, IDIOTS.

Thanks my friend,i have, like you travelled and lived out of India many years, rightly said by you but remember the gap between rich and poor is very wide in India or any other asian countries, in western world what we see basic requirements is luxury in India, like many things, i but, still agree with you to some extent that there is corrupton in western world but common people dont have to suffer bcz of that, i am like any other Indian have fire and desire to serve for the Nation but not ready to get get trapped in the hands of corrupt politicians.
WHAT WE NEED IS POLITICAL REVOLUTION AND EQUAL LAWS FOR ALL.IN INDIA LAWS ARE FOR COMMON PEOPLE, SPECIAL PERSON GETS SPECIAL TREATMENT(THE BIGGEST EXAMPLE IS SANJAY DUTT, Lalu yadav and his company, jayalalita and many more LALUS AND LALEES).(NEWS:POLICE COMMISSIONER IN WISCONSIN STATE OF U.S.A FINED HIMSELF FOR ACCIDENTLY OVERTAKING SCHOOL BUS)
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND SUCH HONEST PEOPLE IN INDIA I WILL PAY FOR YOUR AIR TICKET AND READY TO PAY FOR TWO MORE REVOLUTIONERS WHO WANT TO COME BACK TO INDIA.

India Needs, heavy revolutions against corrupt systems, politicians, rishwat khori. We and new generation could only do this. We also need to remove selfishness from ourselves. We also use to give rishwat when it needs, as our system demands. Loot maar is heavy.
We need a positive wave like in China to improve our structure. It needs step by step renovation and with result orientation. It needs to clean up those who comes in middle of these projects. Since, illiteracy is still there, differece of poverty with rich still heavey in many areas. So, it could take time. We should remove monopolistic competition, builders who are capturing the land of agricultures in many areas. If we check it with our population, we find that in future, if builders will cover our agriculture land with same speed, than it will be difficult for ourselves to live here. Farmers are giving up, commiting suiside.
So, if we compare ourselves with other world, India needs a big positive mantra, attitude. For which we have to come in front and raise same things to our politicians.
