by sunny chakraborti on Feb 15, 2007 09:15 AM I agree! Please don't be overconfident-Chinese does exactly the opposite. They complete the job, then rest of the world realizes. China is quickly catching up. I recently attended a BPO conference in New York, where I saw how China is maturing fast and inviting attention; additionally Latin America is working so hard to catch up. We cannot relax. Once the trust and hype goes, down will go all the outsourcing jobs from India. Our biggest bottleneck is infrastructure-including Airports, roads, hotels, and communication to name a few. India needs to quickly expand outside the major cities, by building newer cities and airports, since it takes years to improve inside an existing city. China is building new townships, exclusively for software firms. Please focus on this.

Heloo, you are in fool's paradise, you do not need to become superpower to be happy in your life. look at the countries Denmakr, sweeden, Australia or newzealand. Are they not happy? look at japan, they are mad, but no other go for them, who wants work for 14hrs per day and say my economy is growing at 10%? you need to have food, shelter, water and good law and order in the society. that is what required not this fancy figures. if you ask any bangalorean , he says he was much more happy 15yrs back than now, now it is more stressful life in bangalore. people do not have time to see friends, spend time with family or cannot walk on streets. look at schools, there are no playgrounds(all bought by real estate developers)
