But no one is blaming the already existing car makers and their cars.Imported SUVs,Luxury cars
are also to be blamed.Y singling out TATA.If any concern is over safety then no one is going to buy the car. This is all marketing gimmick by the competitors.Look at indica,Indigo they are all reliable and reachable to middle class. If people are speaking about environmental concerns the better ask them to trash all the existing cars and walk in the street. The no of cars in Indian roads have increased only in recent years. Why no one was pointing to western countries all these years. All the fuel guzzlers are made in the west and they create hole in the ozone layer, causing Arctic ice melting, increase in global temperature. This environment concerns, green house emissions are plays by west to pass the burden to the third world countries. For ex.take the car sales volume in the US/CANADA,Europe.And Asia,Africa will be never near it.

Tatas are making cars since 1995. However not even a single product from them can compete with any other cars in India in terms of quality, reliability, emission and other standards. Then how can he say that this car is safer and with lower emissions. Let them first optimise their Indica for more safety and reliability before bringing a new junk to the market

do u think a junk product will be a success in india.Jst check out the no of flop cars in india. Indica is a huge success Mr.Hiran...and its meeting the required safty and emission standards in india. For a 3.5 lakh can u can expect the saftys of a Merc ,which costs more than 25 lakhs...try to be more logical and practical Mr.Hiran
