IPO's thru book building route seems to be a good way of making lot of money by companies on the premium and also making the promoters worth millions overnigth. Can someone explain who decides the price band? and who ensures that proper checks are in place to decide the price bands?

the bandits decide their own rules of banditry through jargons which they themselves sometimes find it difficult to decipher leave alone explain.
It is a combination of thieves and the prostitutes.

Unfortunately for Bharatvarsh both these tribes enjoy respectability !
