This is to get 100-200 crores from Reliance Industries just like Ramdoss asked the cricketers and Film stars not to promote soft drink since these drinks are injurious to Health but just after one month the same minister informed Parliament that everything is okey with soft drinks and they are not bad for health. The story in between is between Health Minsiter and Soft Drink Manufacturers

Beside this soft drink episode, Ramdoss has one more feather in cap. The pictorial health warning as per MoH notification of July 5,2006
should have been effective from February 1, 2007postphone to May 2007 and now for indefinite period. The reason, a nice meeting of Tobacco Lobby with honourable Health Miniter.

What guts? Just need to be dump to take such a decision. All the years we've heard traders of hoarding and black marketing of goods to make quick bucks. The middle men deny the farmers their real value but themselves make good money.
remember mothers spending hours everyday trying to remove stones from rice and wheat?
Almost every kirana store employees child labour.
Vested interests (read politicians - many of them are traders themselves) dont want organized sector to improve things. They dont want consumers to get good quality goods. They dont want farmers to get good returns and timely payment for their produce. They gain in keep india backward and poor.
Shame on them and fools who support them

Nothing will change for farmers and consumers. Now we will be looted by Ambani, Mittal etc. Only style and name will change. I am not a supporter of Mayawati. Mayawati is also changing, previously she used to deal with many people now she will deal with three or four persons.
