How can you stop someone from doing legitimate business. It is simply a provision store on a larger scale. Love to tell mayawati that this is inthe interest of the consumers
How can you stop someone doing a business on a larger scale. I feel this will not stand up in the courts

Mayawati is blocking reliance only on one ground & that is large scale monopoly that can throw away small retailers out of the market if the state govt can show that in public interest litigation then this act of govt can stand up in the court of law. thats the answer of your statement above but I am completely agree with you that a legitimate business should not be restricted in any way....Relaince can file a restraint on trade petition but it is unlikely bcoz they are facing the same situation in every state.

this is like how when ANIL AMBANI was first refused to start the DADRI project and after few days she gave a nod, this is all PAISE KA KHEL. when Mukesh Ambnai will fufill her requirements she will allow the retail to start
