40 VC's investing a mere 400 Million$ is too Less, my dear Friends...
it should have been around 3-4 Billion$...
anyways, who is going to gain from this, who knows.... Just that all youngsters would get Call center jobs, and there would be No Research and Hi-tech Jobs in India..

We need to create something of our Own...
Like REliance Retail, REliance Petro, TCS..

We need to have Industries for making Computers and Accessories, Peripherals, Airplanes, Super-Highways, Better Road Transport..
High Bandwidth INternet Connectivity, e-Governacne....etc....

I have a requirement from my client where I require young scientists in India to help US research products. Technically it will be called a call centre but these young doctorates and Masters will earn close to 2500$ per month to start with. Also, there papers will be published along with the major research projects.

Don't think that call centres are only to take first level calls. There are hundreds of project which require highly qualified Indian professionals but because of US visa restrictions and desi consultans in US, its hard to get them here. One way or other India will progress with these projects.
