Income from Abroad- Ashwani Gautam

HI, i am working for a UK company in india.and i am getting my salary wire transferred from UK directly in to my account.

I wanted to know one thing, as i am getting foreign exchange to india by providing services to foreign company.

will i be in the tax exempted bracket or not?

if not then why ?

No tax for the money received from abroad, because it is forex income to the country.

You are a resident in India and whatever income you earn anywhere in the world is taxable in India.In this case,your salary is being given for work done in India and is being received by you in India as well.It is fully taxable in India.
