Strange paid op
by Kaushik Das on Apr 17, 2007 10:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I know about these IT companies - satyam is the biggest exploiter that even makes its recruits sign bonds for TWO years. Same with TCS - low paying, bad politicking. If you work there, you'll be working for everybody. If they send you onsite, you'll have to spend an equal amount of time here.
HCL is one of the worst employers - absolutely no consideration for people. Not a bad payer per se - but very bad politics lies within. :-(

every where there are some satisfied employees and some frustrated employees.but the main point is overall which company is having good culture.if hewitt claims satyam to no.2 i can challenge if they come again and ask all freshers, satyam's "ELTP" and ask them about company, they tell u about real story. company not even consider them humans only treat them as slaves or say "BANDUA MAJDOOR".

Saikrishnan, do not try to imagine that your good experience is true for all. I can give you examples of multiple Satyam employees including myself suffering. It is true that there is an factor of hating your current employer. I have worked in the software industry for over 15 years and I worked both for MNCs and Indian companies. I can vouch that Satyam is by far the worst experiences I have had. The policies and procedures and the vision of Satyam definitely stand out but the leaders at different level does not match the higher vision. Try to visualize the wholistic picture rather than looking at couple of opportunities you got.
