Well - while I won't subscribe to the conspiracy theory of Hewitt wanting to sell HR work or else ... but I would think that most outstanding employees give a rat's a#2s to such surveys and will not stop joining a Google , Adobe , Accenture , Microsoft , Lehman Brothers ,Goldman Sachs , Booze Allen , Bain , SAP , McKenzie ,Synopsys , etc just because they do not figure in this so called best employer survey.

btw.. the companies u mention aren't Indian companies to begin with and I don't think they qualify. Survey results depend on the sample taking the survey and depends on what level of the organization are a majority of the sample from. I work at Samsung Telecom America and I'll tell you for a fact, they treat me great but I think the upper management keeps changing all the time cus they feel the company is not at all employee friendly. Also depends on who you repor to in the company, if your boss happens to be unfriendly, then you'd hate the company naturally but I think the criteria were employee growth and development and job security.

At least 10 of these companies are not Indian companies. The companies I have mentioned have significant operations in India and hire the brightest and the best. None of the companies in this so-called top 25 best employers can even dream of attracting such employees - which is the criteria for being a best employer.

Dude... do you know that Hewitt is a bigger company than Infy and most of the other companies listed in the top 25 are much smaller when compared to Hewitt? Hewitt has to fake nothing. It just posted what it found. Why do people think Infy or any other company should be on the top? Just because they are most publicised companies who are on the news for some reason or the other? Big companies do not mean BEST employers. They grow by exploiting their employees.
I dont see any employee from these top 25 companies complaining here? Why dont you guys accept the fact that there can be many small companies that can be good and offer better for the employees? I dont say that this survey is absolutely correct. But it cant be entirely wrong....
Do try to accept the facts guys...
